Whether it's an interior design painting or a portrait of your children or pet, an original painting commissioned by you is something you will cherish. If you don't live in the Charleston, SC are, I can work with you on your vision/ideas through email and exchange of photos, etc. I provide a composite/sketch for your approval before I begin to work on the painting. If you live in my area, I will photograph portrait subjects (if you don't have a preferred photo for my reference.) Here are a few samples of my commissioned paintings.

"Cathy's Beach Triptych "
This client lives in Florida and wanted a 3-panel (triptych) painting of her favorite beach near where she lives. She sent me several photos of her beach and once my composite/sketch was approved, this is what resulted. It now hangs on her wall to make her feel she never left the beach! Though she has the original, this triptych is available as a print as well. This original size price in Giclee print on stretched canvas (first and third panels = 18" x 36", middle panel = 24" x 36") is $800. Custom sizes are available. |

"Cindy's Still Life"
This client lives in my area so I was able to come to her kitchen and take photos. She didn't know what custom painting she wanted in her kitchen so I took elements that were there (her pottery, curtains, etc.) and produced a still life original oil painting that complimented the room. |

This client had a second home and wanted a custom commissioned painting for their dining room's long wall. They had recently vacationed in Hawaii and loved the pineapple groves. This is the pineapple grove triptych I painted for them in oil.

Pricing a Custom Commisioned Painting Interior Design or Portrait commissions in Oil or Watercolor are priced at $2.50 per square inch. Example: 11" x 14" = $385, 16" x 20" = $800, 24" x 30" = $1,800, 36" x 30" = $2,700, etc. Pet Portraits in Oil or Watercolor are priced at $2 per square inch. Example: 11" x 14" = $308, 16" x 20" = $640, etc. Graphite Pencil Drawings are priced at $1.50 per square inch. Example: 11" x 14" = $231, 16" x 20" = $480 Once the painting is finished, prints can be made as gifts to family if desired. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required once the composite/sketch is approved. |
