The
portrait process:
Provide the artist
with a photograph that you would like to be painted. They can be
emailed, mailed, or meet with the artist. Provide as many good photos
of the subject(s) as possible. Discuss any concerns such as color,
etc., if they do not appear in the photo as true to life. Discuss the
background if you have a preference, i.e. do you want it non-descript with
soft-focus colors, or a solid black or white background, or is there a
subject that should be seen (sometimes an additional charge is made for
subject backgrounds). Let the artist know if there is a deadline.
Though the portrait is always guaranteed your approval, there is no guarantees
on deadlines. The artist makes every effort to make a deadline, but ensures a quality product which takes
time.
